Claudia Marcela Cogo Biography and CV

Claudia Cogo was born in Avellaneda, Buenos Aires, in 1963.
In 1989, she began her studies in the Buenos Aires Fine Arts School, "Prilidiano Pueyrredón"
In 1993, she won THE BIG AWARD OF HONOR from the "Gente de Arte Association" in Avellaneda. That same association gave her her two first awards, in 1994 and 1995.
In 1999, she won the award in the VII NATIONAL SALOON OF PLASTIC ARTS for artists of italian origin. That allowed her to travel to Europe to study. Also, she joined The NATIONAL SALOON of Villa Constitución, Santa Fé.
In 2000, she won THE BIG AWARD OF HONOR in THE AUTUMN SALOON OF AZUL ART CENTER, in Berazategui, BUENOS AIRES Province. Also, she joined THE BOLLINI FOUNDATION, VI MEETING OF PAINTERS 2000. She won THE THIRD PRIZE FOR PAINTERS of III SALOON for small dimension pictures in the ASSOCIATION OF PAINTERS OF QUILMES and the first prize in the stain competition"RIVERA DE QUILMES", PEDRO RICCI art gallery, in Bernal, Province of Buenos Aires.
She presented a very important show during January, February and March with her series ' CARILO' , for the ALDO DESOUZA ART GALLERY in "THE PASEO DE LAS TERRAZAS", CARILO, BUENOS AIRES.
In 2001, she won the first prize in the SMALL DIMENSIONS PICTURES SALOON, LOFT ESPACIO ALFA ART GALLERY in BUENOS AIRES Capital.
During this year, she was invited to show her watercolors with the same gallery in an international exhibition at PUNTA DEL ESTE, URUGUAY. Also, she shared THE VII SALOON ' BUENOS AIRES, NATIONAL SMALL DIMENSIONS PICTURES in ALIANZA FRANCESA, FORTABAT CENTER.
In the winter of 2001 she received THE FIRST PRIZE SMALL DIMENSIONS PICTURES, PEDRO RICCI GALLERY, Bernal, Province of Buenos Aires and she joined A SHOW AT ' BOLLINI ART FOUNDATION CENTER' , in BUENOS AIRES DC.
In January of 2003, she was invited to join THE PALERMO VIEJO ART FAIR and in February she won THE FIRST PRIZE IN HUMAN FIGURE OF S.A.A.P. ASSOCIATION, (ARGENTINE ASSOCIATION OF PLASTIC ARTISTS) in Buenos Aires Capital.
In September she won the First prize in THE SECOND ART SALOON of LOMAS DE ZAMORA' LIONS in Buenos Aires Province.
In March of 2004, she was invited to present a show in THE COOMISIONER' S BOARD OF LA PLATA CITY, Buenos Aires Province.
In May she shared a show in BORGES CULTURAL CENTER of BUENOS AIRES DC. with THE M.I.A.L.A. MUSEUM OF ART.
In November she was chosen to share a show in VICENTE LOPEZ ART CENTER , Buenos Aires Province and in December she showed her pictures in THE PALAIS DE GLACE with THE S.A.A.P. ASSOCIATION OF ARGENTINE PAINTERS in Buenos Aires Capital.
In February of 2005, she presented a big and individual show in GOLDEN JACK of QUILMES, Buenos Aires Province.
In April of 2005, she was invited to a collective show in THE CONTEMPORARY MUSEUM OF ART , BEATO ANGELICO of LA PLATA CITY.
In May, she presented an individual show of her series ' OF ZENITH VIEWS' , in THE CABILDO SQUARE ART GALLERY, Buenos Aires Capital.
In August of 2006, she presented an individual show in BEATO ANGELICO, CONTEMPORARY ART MUSEUM OF LA PLATA
In November, she presented an individual show in INFINITY ART GALLERY of MIAMI, U.S.A.
In December she shared the big show of argentinian painters in CASA DEL ARTE , ART GALLERY , DOWTOWN OF MIAMI.
In February of 2007, she presented an individual show in CASA DEL ARTE, ART GALLERY OF MIAMI.
In June, she presented a collective show in ESPACIO 10, ART GALLERY OF PALERMO VIEJO, Buenos Aires Capital.
In August of 2007, she presented a collective show sponsored by MIAMI DOWTOWN DEVOLOPMENT AUTHORITY in CASA DEL ARTE, ART GALLERY OF MIAMI.
in August too, she made a personal show painting a big mural in public for ETCHART WINES, In Rodriguez Peña Palace, BUENOS AIRES Capital.
In October of 2007 one of her works participated in THE CISNEROS FONTANALS ART FOUNDATION AUTION for International Kids Foundation.
In October of 2007, also, she presented in the inaugurate show of RONNIE SANCHEZ GALLERY in SUNNY ISLES, FLORIDA.
In June of 2008, she presented an individual show in CITIBANK ALHAMBRA FINANCIAL CENTER of CORAL GABLES, FLORIDA.
In August of 2008, she presented an individual big show in TOWER THEATRE OF MIAMI, sponsored by THE MIAMI DADE COLLEGE, THE ARGENTINIAN CONSULATE and THE ARGENTINE CULTURAL CENTER in MIAMI.
